How it works
Most spots are treated with electrocautery: a fine, controlled energy tip that removes the growth precisely with minimal effect on surrounding skin. Local numbing keeps you comfortable. Many patients treat several spots in one visit.
Important: what we do not treat at home
Any spot that is changing, bleeding, irregular or suspicious for skin cancer needs a dermatology evaluation and possibly a biopsy. These are not treated at home and will be referred to an appropriate dermatology office.
What to expect
Small scabs form and heal over about one to two weeks. Keep the area clean and protected from the sun. Some spots need a second treatment. Results vary.
Investment
$400 per treatment for mild cases that need only one session, or $300 per treatment when more than one session is recommended. Acne and other benign concerns are managed at no extra charge for patients already receiving treatments with us.

Frequently asked questions
Is skin tag removal painful?
The area is numbed first, so most patients feel very little.
Will it leave a scar?
Electrocautery is precise and most spots heal with minimal marking, though any procedure carries some risk of scarring or pigment change.
Can you check a mole for skin cancer?
Suspicious spots are referred for a full dermatology evaluation and biopsy; we do not treat them at home.
