Acne Scar Treatment in Orange County, Delivered to Your Door

Not all scars are the same. Rolling scars, boxcar scars and ice pick scars sit at different depths and respond to different tools. Many patients also have redness or dark marks left behind (post inflammatory hyperpigmentation), which is not a true scar and is treated differently. A dermatology trained assessment sorts this out first, so you are not paying for a treatment that does not fit your skin.

• Clear Skin microneedling series. A medical grade device creates controlled micro channels that prompt your skin to build new collagen, softening the look of scars and uneven texture over a series of sessions.
• PRF upgrade. Platelet Rich Fibrin, made from a small sample of your own blood, can be added to microneedling to support healing and recovery.
• Active acne care first. If breakouts are still happening, Kaitlyn builds a medical grade routine and, when appropriate, manages prescription treatment so new scars stop forming.
• Medical grade skincare between sessions to protect results and even out tone.
• Personalized add-ons. In addition to PRF, Kaitlyn offers PDRN, polynucleotide (PN) products and exosome options in select plans. She will discuss the specific product, how it is used and whether it is appropriate for your skin during your consultation.

Most patients need a series of three microneedling sessions spaced four to six weeks apart. Expect a few days of redness, similar to a mild sunburn, then gradual smoothing as collagen builds over the following months. Deeper scars may need more sessions. Results vary from person to person, and Kaitlyn will tell you honestly what improvement is realistic for your scars.

Microneedling is $600 per session or $1,500 for a prepaid series of three. PRF can be added for $100 per session. PDRN or polynucleotide (PN) add-ons, including Rejuran Healing Essence and skin booster options, cost an additional $100 to $150 depending on the product selected. Kaitlyn will confirm the product and total cost before treatment.

Every treatment is performed personally by Kaitlyn Lu, PA-C, MSPAS, a California licensed, NCCPA certified physician assistant whose background spans dermatology, Mohs surgery, plastic surgery and hospital medicine. She practices under a written agreement with collaborating physician Heather Lewis, MD, MPH.

We come to you anywhere in Orange County, including Irvine, Newport Beach, Tustin, North Tustin, Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach and Orange, with no travel fee inside Orange County. Outside Orange County, travel is $2 per mile. Visits have a $400 minimum, which a group can share.
